You could check the total length to make sure. The bracelet strongly suggests that it was worn by your grandfather (or another male individual), not your grandmother. Without the exact number, I cannot say more about it (grade etc.), but the total range of the V numbers (model 750) goes from V 00001 (1941) to V 68211 (1942), the details are contained in the 'Supplementary Information' concerning Waltham (wristwatch-) numbers with letters. Otherwise it is the model 750, made from 1941 to 1942. These images just make it a guessing game. Perhaps you can identify the number and repeat it here. The serial number for this watch/movement consists of the letter V followed by a 5-digit number. First of all, this is/was a men's watch at the time (but it was not forbidden for women to wear it). ![]()
